Victorian
Victoria reigned from 1837 to 1901 and this era saw many changes in fashion - with no small thanks to the advent of the sewing machine!

Victorian Ball Gown
Made from exquisite cream silk damask and black velvet, trimmed with beaded lace trim and antique black lace. The train can be fastened up out of the way, or left down for full effect (only recommended at events where people won't stand on it!). Worn over steel boned corset, petticoat and bustle.
Prices from £900.

Victorian Tail Dress
Like the Georgian Red Dragon dress, this began with the corset and I needed a skirt to go with it. My inspiration was the outfits saloon girls are often depicted wearing in Westerns. The tail is made up of two layers, both of which are controlled by ribbons and loops inside and which can be folded up perfectly flat. This isn't an easy dress to put on by yourself, as you need someone who can drape the folds at the back and pin the bunches of roses in place.

For pictures see Gowns and Dresses and Contact page

The sky is the limit for how many layers you could have and how it could be decorated. This could also be worn with a pencil skirt.
Corset from £120 – see Corset page
Tails from £60 each depending on length.
Bustle pad (optional) £20

Victorian Day Dress

Black and Purple shot silk taffeta with black damask plastron and bustle. This dress is worn over a steel boned corset, bustle and petticoat. The customer asked for it to be a bit shorter than usual as she needed it to be easy to walk in without tripping on stairs. Many variants of day dresses available.
Prices from £650.
