flitterbat - makers of all kinds of Fine and Fancy costumes for Aesthetes, Bohemians and Gothicks
Shirts
'Costume shirt' is not a generally used term but one which came about in my days of re-enacting where the term was used to distinguish it from a 'normal' 20th Century shirt. From early days up to around 1800 shirts didn't change that much, simply based on squares of differing sizes put together in various ways.

Gathering, around the neck and on the sleeves, comes and goes over the centuries, as does decorations of embroidery and lace. They can be quite long too.

I can do all types from early linen tunics to the ubiquitous frilly Pirate shirt. If you need an authentic shirt, just tell me what era you need and I can tell you the options, if any. If you want a flamboyant Gothic/alternative shirt then you tell me what you want.

Order in your collar size. Let me know if you are tall, it may have to be cut longer in the body and sleeve.
Here are a few pictures and prices to help.
