flitterbat - makers of all kinds of Fine and Fancy costumes for Aesthetes, Bohemians and Gothicks
Mediaeval
'Mediaeval' covers well over 400 years of history from 1066 to 1485. This page would become a book if I listed all the different types of garment and the different names used for them over this time period. Although I have listed a few garments it is just as a guide, you will have to contact me and let me know exactly what it is you want and we can take it from there.

Authentic garments would be in wool or linen, but many fantasy garments tend to be based on mediaeval clothes and can be made from almost anything! Prices are a guide for plain, authentic garments.

Simple 'T' shaped linen shirt from £25
Wool cote hardie from £35
Simple fitted hose from £60
Gambescon – fitted and padded woollen jacket, sometimes worn under chain mail from £90
